Burlesque Atelier: Brand Identity
We were hired to develop the brand building for Burlesque Atelier, a **European fashion brand destined to stand out on the global scene thanks to, as its manifesto says, its young, passionate and astute spirit. A brand that dismisses the ordinary, because it believes that this life is meant to be percious.
The brief provided by the client was very challenging. It was necessary to mix perspectives that could have been very inharmonious: the world of burlesque, pictorial art, Italian fabrics, the red thread, youth and universality.
The symbol comes from the initial of the name “Burlesque”. We see a letter 'b', but we also see a suggestive mouth.
Lips that say, lips that tell, lips that whisper... lips that kiss. The delicacy, the delicate touch, the discretion proper to nascent love.
We created a very versatile color palette, born from creative energy. Our main colors are Mouth Red, representing passion and candor; Black Noir, representing elegance and silent seduction; Winged White, representing dreams and purity.
For our secondary color palette, we have chosen Lilac Floral, representing feminine delicacy, and Night Yellow, representing the sparkle of beauty, sometimes fleeting and distant.
The points and counterpoints of the color palette make us navigate through different facets of the same fantastic world.
We see the ensemble of this colors as the consummation of a work of art.
The typography is “Bricolage”, a name that gives us the idea of craftsmanship, that which is done of its own free will and without limitations.
A geometric typography that “dances”, that has a powerful rhythm and a marked sensuality.
The curves are repeatedly announced throughout its structure, emulating a passionate journey through the senses and feeling.
For this work, we got the collaboration of Mauco, who helped us to give life to the muse of Burlesque:
Self-confident, sensual and distinguished.

We continue our journey talking about the application of the brand in physical formats and in digital environments, displaying its multiple variants like a fan of feathers.
